Besides the exciting new Audi R8 diesel concept, Audi revealed the new Audi TT-S at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show. Powered by a 2.0L TFSI engine the Audi TT-S produces 268 horsepower with a peak torque 258 lb-ft. The engine is mated with an S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission.
0-62 for the TT-S Coupe comes in at 5.4 seconds while the roadster does it in 5.6. Both have an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. Fuel-economy wise the coupe model gets a combined 24.7mpg while the roadster gets 24.3mpg.
The Audi TT-S will be available to order in the UK sometimes mid-2008.

Its a pretty car and even better than the old generation Audi TT, with the TTS you get twin turbos and just imagine the potential you can get out of this engine with a flash, intake and exhausts.

Just let me say bye bye 335ci, here comes the Audi TT.

If this thing gets some handsome upgrades performance-wise, I think this could be really interesting.. A nice TTS cab with performance upgrades would be a beautiful daily driver.

Audi's really got their $hit together. I drove one when they first came out last year, and the DSG transmission is no joke..!
