I'm almost 100% positive this is the same guy that tried to pull an ebay scam with a avus silver 07 RS4 with a flat bottom steering wheel that actually belonged to evil_b over on 6speed. He blanked out the plates in the pics he took from Brad's auto trader ad and told me the car was only listed in Florida because he had just sold a house there and was moving back to his home town of Baltimore...

 

Can you guys find out if is Iraq claim is legit?

 

Dunno. Everything matches up so far though. I'm in MD, so I told him I wanted to see it in person, give me a friend or family member, the storage place, whoever to deal with so I can see it. If I like it, I'll take it. Etc.

Have not heard back from him since that last email.

That'll be tough. If he is deployed, and has a head on his shoulders, he won't admit to what Unit he's in, where he's deployed, etc. for security reasons.

I did do a quick search on the guys name and nothing came up online. I'm working through a police contact to check the name of the registered owner against the VIN he gave me. We'll see.

 

No WAY this is legit... I've run upon too many of these A**Holes tryin to swoop up on someones hard earned cash.

If its too good to be true, chances are thats the case.
