Post 2009 Audi A6 / S6 U.S. Pricing Announced (US)

Audi has announced pricing for the updated 2009 A6 will start at $45,100 for the 3.2 Premium while the 3.0T quattro Premium begins at $50,100. The V8 powered 4.2 quattro goes for $60,950 and the S6 will be carry a hefty $75,900 price tag.

The big news for the 2009 update is the additional of a new 3.0 TFSI V6 engine that produces 300 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft of torque which allows the mid-level A6 to run from 0-to-60 mph in 5.9 seconds. Fuel economy for the new engine is rated at 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. Outside the 2009 models feature new bumpers, air vents, fog lights, chrome accents, and LED taillights. Interior updates are minor but new additions include aluminum trim on the steering wheel, switches and the parking brake, upgraded graphics for the instrument cluster, and a new engine start/stop button.

The updated A6 will be available at Audi dealers nationwide in January.
