What do you think Tommy? It looks too much like the V8 R8 to me. I was hoping it'd be wilder like the V12 Diesel concept one...

Thanks for the pics. The interior is to die for...

This is exactly what I expected and it's pretty much identical to the test mules we saw pics of. I like the subtle changes to the body like the flared sideblades and sideskirts, but the wheels I'm not sure of yet.

The V10's are also gonna have the full LED headlights which is cool along with a new rear valance that you can't see in the pics.

I would have loved to see a version like the V12 TDI too Chris, but that would probably come with a price that would put it in Lambo territory which Audi can't really do.

This car is gonna rip though!

Here is a statement from Audi regarding this car in the U.S:

As you know, the Audi R8 has been an extremely successful model for the brand and it continues to garner praise from the media. Most recently, the R8 won the highly competitive Motor Trend handling test, in which the testers stated: "The R8 is in another world compared with other cars here." The R8 continues to be in high demand with sales up 124% for the month of November.

At the end of business this upcoming Monday, December 8, 2008, Audi AG will release information in Europe about an R8 V10 model to be launched in Europe next year. The US launch is still under evaluation. If the R8 V10 does launch in the US, we anticipate that it would be released about a year after European launch.

We wanted to make sure that you were informed of the above. Keeping this in mind, it is important that future R8 V8 deliveries are managed proactively and, as always, with the utmost customer care. We will continue to inform you when more information is available.

It doesn't stand out enough from the V8 model. I would've liked to see a more radical front and rear end. Those wheels look nasty by the way.
