Arrow Audi R8 Superbowl XLII Ad

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_sshN-URJY

Old luxury just got put on notice
Audi has spent some USD 6 million on air time only well, whether Americans will flock to Audi dealerships in order to lay their hands on an already extremely popular Audi R8 is debatable but the advertisement will definitely raise awareness of the brand considerably.

Actor Alex Rocco, aka Moe Greene from the Godfather, wakes up to find his Rolls Royce grille at his feet copying the famous scene from the Godfather where Hollywood producer Jack Woltz wakes to find his prized horse Khartoum's head in his bed.

That rocks!
Good on Audi, stepping it up a notch.

There is a new mag out called Mens Health Living, which has Jason Statham on the cover of Transporters fame. In the article he talks about his R8 quite favorably, and why he owns (or will), the car; and two other Audi's.

I'm disappointed. As usual excellent production quality but considering Audi's ad history- I was expecting a lot more from a super bowl ad in terms of creative.

This won't exactly win any prizes, and I'm not sure the bad boy image is relevant to Audi's core values either.

The R8 ad during the super bowl was pretty cool the car looks beautiful everyone watching at the house was impressed. But one of the guest said the car has only 300hp? That can't be true, I've looked online can't find a hp number for the R8 anyone know for sure? If this is true I think it really is going to hurt there sales WW.

it has the rs4 engine. I think they have it set at 414 or something like that.

I have to say it was one of the best ads this year....most of them really sucked

(my fav. was the fedex monster pigeon ad though)

Thought it was a well done, well-positioned ad! Let's see if they benefit from it...
