The Audi AllRoad has successfully stayed away from the glaring media over the past few months, that was of course until our spy photographer caught this completely undisguised prototype exiting the Nurburgring circuit.

Its styling follows in the footsteps of Audi previous venture in the AllRoad branding based on the A6, this particular prototype features a set of black wheel arch extensions which increase the overall width of the vehicle and it also gets a slightly increased ride height. We expected a wagon variant of the A4 AllRoad will hit the market as well as the sedan seen here, however prototypes of this particular body style have managed to evade our cameras so far. The production ready look of this model add weight to the argument that it will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in a couple of weeks.

 

Dakar Rally anyone? God that thing would be fun on and off road.

 

Can you imagine an rs4 allroad. That thing would awesome for off road.

 

why are they basing this on the smaller car? dang it, i would totally buy a new a6 based allroad avant.

 

I'm a massive Audi advocate, but I'm really dissapointed in the styling on most of the B8 styled models.

Hopefully they look better in person.
