Very cool. It's true, Mercury really has stepped up the engine game. Big engines are much more reliable now. I have not run the new 1350's but I'm sure they are outstanding.

 

did you go to the shootout? I've been a couple years in the past and had a blast.

 

I didn't go, but I watched both Saturday and Sunday live on Stickam.com That was pretty amazing. Never heard of that site before the radio broadcast on KRMS where Bob Teague (I think) made reference to streaming video. They had a couple of cameras on the course -- one looking down the tunnels at the start! Pretty cool.

I had some friends at LOTO and I would text them the finish speeds before they got them locally!
