Deck boat v. Bowrider?

Deck boat v. Bowrider?
Gonna buy a boat this week. Had lots of bowriders, never a deck boat.
This:MarineMax | 2005 Sea Ray 240 SELECT for sale in Pompano Beach,FL
Or this:MarineMax | 2007 Sea Ray 240 SUNDECK for sale in Destin,FL
Basically gonna just use it to float around slowly and get drunk with the family. Visit some of the nearby outer islands only accessible by boat.
Anyone had both and can comment?

I sold SR's for a long time and the 240 Sundeck is the way to go. Nothing wrong with the Select but the Sundeck is better on a number of levels. Make sure you get a survey, replace the risers and manifolds if they are original.

I had a 240 Sundeck, and really miss it. If I were going to do it again it would be another one. Just my .02. Bottom line if you are looking to entertain and have alot of space to move around a sundeck is the way to go.

Our 240 Sundeck had a bathroom and it was very spacious. It is in front of the passenger seat. The cabin (if you want to call it that) is more like a closet in front of the drivers seat.
