I think I may reach the 40s? Its just a guess, since I have never taken the boat top speed before. I'll post up the numbers once I find out. It's actually light up front and heavier in the back when its on the trailer.

I know we've all given you a tough time, but it really looks like it's coming around. Seems like you have put some work into it. Let's see some pics when it's finished, and you have it in the water.
Are you going to keep the same paint scheme? Or will you change it?
BTW these guys Hollywood, Florida, Mercury, Konrad, Livorsi, Parts, Accessories, Apparel, Merchandise always have some great stuff for boats. I have bought many things from them, and they are the ones that used to get me all my Marine Machine gauges and controls. They can do some cool stuff too, like getting you an anodized anchor.

I got the chance to give the boat a pretty good run (last year) and that boat spends alot of time reaching for the sky. I usually give it alittle gas when i accelerate, and go half throttle till the bow goes down, then go slower till the boats bow is flat. The boat dips down into troughs of waves and then literally flies out landing stern first.
Cross-waves and rollers that come from behind are the worst.
I wear one of those high=performance life jackets that inflate with a rip cord or inflates when it gets water on it =) I always use my kill switch.

I didnt mount it yet. One of the shifter cables was broken, and I am replacing it. Tomorrow I am completing the boat. It will be water ready Fri. afternoon or sat. morning.
