Lakes here are still pretty cold... I'll probably start towards the end of the month with a wetsuit if I'm just dying, but tolerable water won't exist until mid may

If I'm not mistaken our lake is still covered with 6" of ice so....no not for a while!

Not yet. Still need to order my new board and needs to warm up about 30 degrees.

We'll be in with wetsuits by next weekend. Still dry starts this time of year though, and the tricks are pretty tentative, as nobody wants to go in hard without the boat already circling . . .

when I was a youngin there were a few years I would be skiing with a thin layer of ice in some of the bays that morning. It would be a valuable skill to be able to ski right to the end of the dock and fall down catching yourself on the end - took a few missed attempts at first though. Not fun at all.

Still too cold here too. We usually hit the lakes around mid May.
