Rare color film of Don Aronow racing
We have posted a small segment of a recently uncovered film of Don Aronow racing his 32 foot Cary.
Everyone has seen the famous photo of Don racing with his helmet off, as he threw it over the side....this clip is from that race and shows him without the helmet.
We just revamped the banana boat co site and are using it to launch the new changes. Enjoy the racing clip and the site...there are other video racing clips on there too.

Fox films is going to be making a movie about his life in the near future.
Another group tried to make a documenatary about him last year and it was taken to the Cannes Film Festival where they tried to leverage it into a major motion picture, but the slant was the old Miami drug scene etc. No takers.
The Aronow family in the mean time were working with Fox to come up with a script about his life. The American dream....A poor kid in Brooklyn makes it young and goes on to become friends with kings, presidents and dictators all over the world.....it will be a much better film.

Great Videos!!! The video on that website, the one with Aronow in the "Cigarette". I have a friend who owns a 39' Cigarette Squadron XXII named "Dry Martini" His name is Guy LaMotta, and he would be very pleased to see that video. Can you email me a copy of that, so I can foreward it to Guy?
