Nice boat, but why use an ancient drive like that?? Wouldn't a Trimax be better?

It's based on the principal of a Gentleman's racer with a mid mounted engine.

Same drive as the Boesch and Riva boats it competes against. Will only turn one way in reverse base on propr turn. Hate the plastic shifter, does not fit the rest of the boat.

You can see one here, you move the lever to engage forward, neutral or reverse and twist it for the throttle. In the older boats it used be a bras pistol grip shifter under the dash. This is from a Boesch 710 Costa Brava.
