Boat Build Thread - Pics

It's not really that the 6 is overkill, it's just that the whole boat would need to be re-rigged to get it to work. The engine would have to be moved forward to accommodate the transmission. Also, from what i've heard these boats with a 6 drive are no fun to drive at anything less than 90 mph. You are right, as far as I know the NXT is not available separate from the 700sci...yet. Imco just released their new SCX drive which looks pretty promising, but i'm really waiting to see what the X-Power can handle. Good times ahead

The bravo will at least handle 1 season of (non) offshore type use, so that will be the perfect time to realize if its time to move up, or stay put. either way its going to be a great summer.
Fantastic looking boat, and from your posts you deserve every moment of enjoyment you get out of it. Just wish I could make it down to the havasu trip to check it out in person.
post some vid's come test day
Cheers.

Thanks guys. NFR, there is a pretty fine mesh screen over the throttle body inlet, but no air cleaner per se. I will definitely have video from the first lake trip this weekend and from Havasu.
