New Cobalt 302, can't wait!!!

Hey Guys:

I'm new to this board and just noticed the marine section. I've been looking for a place to chat about boats, my second love, cars being my first. I just sold a 59' Marquis and traded it for a house on the beach. My wife doesn't do well on the ocean, no matter how big the boat I bought her got.

So...we now have a beautiful place on Sliverstrand Beach, and I ordered a Cobalt 302 as our play boat. I can't wait to get her. I loaded her up with every conceivable option, including the 425hp HO motors with Captain call exhaust. She should be good for close to 65mph. Can't wait until May, which is when she should deliver.

Cobalt, wow awesome. Great solid boats that combine luxury and performance for good size lakes. Hope you and your wife enjoy the boat.
Congrats and keep us posted on the pics.
be safe

cobalts are great baots, both our neighbours own them and they cannot say enough great things about them

Congrats on your purchase, and show us some more pictures when available.

(I love boats no matter how small or large.)
Cheers.

We've had our cobalt for 16 years and it still looks/runs like new!

Congrats! My wife doesn't do well (or doesn't think she would) on the ocean either so I'm stuck with land toys for now. I'll change her mind eventually!

As stupid as this suggestion sounds (I'm full of them today) try her out on a wave runner... I have 3 female friends who refuse to go out on boats due seasickness, but would live on a Jetski if they had makeup mirrors on them.

either that or they just like to touch me. and I know thats not it...

Interestingly I grew up in Toronto and hung out at Lake Simcoe and Muskoke every summer.
