2009 was a good year and there were plenty of nice performance boats made. What would you nominate as the best powerboat made this year? To me, it would be the Cigarette 39' Top Gun Unlimited. Many were made this year and they all looked great!

+1, I agree, Sweet machine.
4-me with a couple staggared 1050's, life would be real good!

What's the most powerful engine you can fit into a Gun? 1075's?

a couple of t-55 turbines .. around 4000hp... or put some 1600hp turbo motors with big cubes in it! lol

this is pretty close to reliable and radical as one can get, that is why it gets my vote!

Agreed, that would be my boat if I had the choice and finances to pull it off at present.

Nicest performance boat this year
Thanks for noting your preference for the Cigarette 39 Top Gun Unlimited! Powerboat Magazine agreed with you, naming it the 2009 Offshore V-Bottom of the Year award. The 39 was also awarded Powerboat's recognition for V-Bottom Workmanship of the Year in 2006, the year the boat was introduced.

Wait until you see what Cigarette has in store at the Miami International Boat Show February 11-15, 2010. Booth B-23!
