Took out the RXP for a spin.

Last week I took out my Jet-ski, its been a while since I've last drove it could be a year or so since I've last taken it out. I have it since summer 2006 and its only been driven 14 hours or so, 10 hours to break in the engine.

I went out for an hour and the waves really spoiled it for me, I wanted to go as fast as possible but the most I got up to was 40mph because I wasn't wearing a life jacket nor my goggles.

I blame myself for being lazy to take it to the beach when I am free.

Some pictures for your viewing pleasure,

I love this picture, this was taken after 30 minutes of riding. I got it on the sand and left it in front of our beach house because my parents, uncle and the rest of the family were waiting for me for our weekly get together lunch. The Kawasaki jet-ski is my brothers, its fun but I fall a lot.

This picture is superb, honestly It was captured via my phone but it really describes my day a relaxing 3-4 hours after the beach enjoying the scenery.

I bet that's tons of fun... Have you ever ridden a true stand-up "jet ski"? They're a blast, like a motorcycle for water. Harder to learn than a sea-doo, and much more of a work out.

The Supercharger does its work nicely, we dont have any oceans over here. Its just the Arabian Gulf.

riding a Jetski without a life jacket is right up there with Rock climbing without a helmet. One slip up and you're in big trouble.

Be safe out there.

/Safety rant.

been reading on those RXPs and they seem to have major supercharger failures that end up seizing the engine when the SC impeller gets sucked into the engine. The culprit seems to be free revving when the propeller is in the air (i.e jet ski flying off a wave while throttle is still applied)
