Exotics at Redmond Town Center Wraps up for 2012
It looks like the weather won't cooperate for Saturday so no E@RTC. Sadly, we're now done for the season. We resume again, weather permitting, on February 16, 2013.
Before we wrap things up, we've got a few people to thank beginning with Redmond Town Center. They were incredible all year! Please shop there this holiday season to show your support. They've done a lot to make E@RTC something special and they deserve our thanks. We can't say enough good stuff about them.
Next, we've had an incredible group of volunteers this season. These folks not only get up very early every Saturday morning, but spend lots of off time planning for each and every Saturday and without them we'd have a difficult time keeping things running so smoothly, yet they always do it with good cheer. Thank you John, Mikaela, Nick, Blair, Vic, Eric, Ted, Andre, Shawn, Fernando, Eric 2, and all the others who filled in now and then when we were shorthanded for special events. The entire Fowler family has been terrific.
Next, what a great car community!!! This doesn't happen without the support of those who bring their cars each week. Some of you collectors went way out of your way to show your cars to the community and it's deeply appreciated. Greg W., thanks for setting the bar so high! I've also got to thank Anthony once again for helping us remain on the map for the past four years.
This season brought some incredible cars and every week was something new. In our first four years I've only missed a handful of events and yet, every week this season we had something we've never seen before. We have some of the best collectors in the world and we're grateful for their attendance. We appreciate the support from the dealers who keep showing us the latest and greatest, and especially Ferrari of Seattle for helping us with our annual Ste. Michelle event.
Each year we've grown by an average of 40% over the prior year. We set new records with a peak of 270 cars, and well over 2,000 attendees on special days. We rarely had days with fewer than 100 cars and an average day brought over 130 cars and hundreds of spectators.
We can't forget the photographers for not only taking such great shots but also for putting them up on various forums, our website, Facebook and other places. Your work is much appreciated! Thanks James, Jonathan, Nate, Kim, Jason and so many others who post their videos on YouTube. You also keep us on the map!
After some time off, we begin planning our fifth season in early January and we're expecting even more events for 2013. It's hard to believe it's been five years since we began to plan E@RTC and we had no idea it would grow to become what it is today- the largest weekly gathering of exotics north of Los Angeles!
We wish you all a terrific holiday season and we'll see you all in 2013!
