Speeding ticket in Bellingham

Anybody have a good traffic lawyer up north?
I used to have one, but he charges more to travel to Whatcom County.

Anybody else have advice?
I haven't had a ticket in 2 years, so I don't even know the going rate. I think it was $200 local and $275 or something to go up to Whatcom Co. And of course I don't know a lawyer up there.

It was a BS ticket, should be an easy fight.

Ha! I got a ticket up there too, the one and only time I'd ever been in that area. 87 in a 70. I just paid it.

Damn you must walk really fast, didn't you sell your car?

Sorry can't help you with the lawyer thing. Just think of this as a free bump.

That is not the way deferrals work in Washington State. No new tickets for 12 months. I'm an attorney and charge more to go up there for tickets as well. I know a local attorney or 2 up there that handle traffic tickets. PM me if you would like for information.

DAMN, just checking back now. Already sent a Seattle lawyer $400 to go up there for me.

Thanks anyway. Rep. And... welcome to TS
