I did the same with my car, but had the dealer paint it the same as the body color then I had Metropolitan Detail slap on a piece of Venture Shield. My thinking was it softens the "slack jawed" look of the grille. Those 2 chrome strips snap right out so painting and the clear bra application are easy.
Agreed, it does look good. Really helps to break things up.

i know is look good on silver but on gray?
i looking maybe black haa all black?

Congrats on the RS4! It's one of the finest cars I've ever owned. I LOVE IT!

Isn't that piece a sort of flat black or dark gray on a stock car? I think it looks nicer painted the same as the body color.
