New job?

I'm bored/Burnt Out with my current job, Video Game Producer. Been in the industry for almost 14yrs.

Does anyone know a good company looking for an experienced Project Manager?

Just want to see what else is out there.

Hi Kirby, The hard part is transitioning from one field to the next. I think you need to look in areas that are close but different than what you did before. One of our competitors (in some areas) is www.evb.com, they don't do video games but they are into interactive media. I think that would be a good change for you. look in to it. They are very creative and always looking for talent. Good company all around. I have hired a few of their talent and they seem to have it together pretty well.

Its time to go pro with your portfolio bud

but in the meantime you should definitely check out opportunities in interactive media. Theres a strong need for good talent in many advertising/marketing firms for ppl who can bridge the gap between traditional and online media strategy

Are you interested in still being a producer, or would you rather be a project manager?

I think I'm more interested in a new challenge, be it as a Producer or Product Manager

Be a race car driver... No but seriously, why not a photographer for a prestigious magazine? You have a heft portfolio to show, your pictures are out of this world!
