Club Sportiva does require yearly membership. They have a Bentley GT. I think they still have their Gallardo, but sold their Murci.
I rented a Z4 from Specialty Rentals on my honeymoon in Fall 04 - picked the car up from Sacramento airport and stayed in Big Sur. Only glitch was that I was promised a manual transmission and the car had an automatic (so they gave me a day for free). Here I am picking my nose in the car (yes, I married the perfect girl for me!):

Agreed, been thinking about something similar for a while. Hybrid Autobahn country club/ High End Rental. Open to the public, yet with a much more rigorous screening/membership process. We can chat about it more offline...

You're right.

Fred: how much? When the weather clears up it would be fun to roll a GT for a couple days...
