Police on Long Island are currently in pursuit of suspects after a robbery at London Jewelers in Manhasset.

Authorities have confirmed that around 1:50 p.m. Friday afternoon numerous suspects fled the scene in a black Cadillac Escalade at 2046 Northern Boulevard after a robbery there.

Authorities also said the suspects then ditched the vehicle in Lake Success at a golf course near the Long Island Expressway at Exit 32.

One witness told 1010 WINS that she saw at least two armed men at the scene — one she said had a gun, while another was carrying a sledge hammer, according to the woman’s account.

Police also have canines and helicopters tracking the suspects.

Police can not confirm that any have been taken into custody as of yet.

They also can not confirm the number of suspects.

Hope they didn't get the watch I was planning on buying !!!

 

Whoa- I used to grab coffee and study at the tables right outside London many times a week when I lived in Old Westbury. I hope they catch these cowards.

 

Prob will be a lot of security at the event next weekend for sure! Glad no one was hurt!

 

i worked at a jewelry store when I was in college and it was robbed luckily it was after hours. That must have been terrifying. I hope they find these guys.
