Long story short, I was supposed to move into a loft in Nolita and everything fell through for my friend which left me stranded and living with another friend of mine on his couch for the past 2 weeks. Basically I need a place to live asap and can pay $1800 max. I prefer larger lofts below Houston above Canal and no more than 4 roommates, but I'm flexible. I would want immediate move in and even if it's just short term until July or August that's fine too.

Thanks Felix. I'm guessing you've seen some of my recent FB updates regarding this whole fiasco? Ugh, I don't know why it's so difficult right now in NYC, but it's impossible to find something half decent for under $2k. Even shares!
