If you are in downtown Boston today stop by Gov center. The F1 Karting crew has turned Cambridge St. into a race track for a charity event race. I stopped by this morning and talked with the guys running it. It's more of a charity/exibition race. It only looks like 4-5 drivers know what they are doing and the teams aren't carrying weight in their karts. Regardless, it's kind of cool to see racing in downtown Boston...

 

Awesome! I used to be into Karting pretty big. Haven't done much since leaving the States. Sucks for me, but this looks like a great event. get any pics?

 

From this mornings warm-up



I won last weekends 4hr enduro at the outdoor track and the last summer league at the indoor track but didn't end up racing in this one. 10K per team was a little steep for my pockets given there's not a lot of quality racers in it.

 

I miss my home town of Bean Town....
