My local Ducati dealer had an 1199 for demo (rare). I was able to snag for a ride. Coming from an 1198 S I did enjoy the power of the 1199. Mainly the delivery is different (more like an in-line 4), strong mid-high end. I wasn't able to get it on a track, but it felt like a 600 under me (which I loved at 5'8). I beat the snot out of it for a few hours. That was my first bike with quick-shift....love it. For the price I would need to compare the RSV-4. Right the BMW is the machine to beat IMO. It is a BEAST!!!!!!!!!!
