my fighter....
1st ride up the mountain was better than expected. which was a surprise in itself because i always owned 1k racers.
Never rode anything close to a harley-like v-twin so i was shocked it blasts down the straights with gusto. The S&S build motor is nice and strong but the single sided brakes suck of course but can be getting used to and corners are taken extremely slow and with caution.
but all in all, a very fun bike to ride and wasnt disappointed too much. bike is brand new so gear changes are clunky to say the least, 2nd and neutral are almost impossible to put in when i first started out. Neutral still can not be selected if its not moving or engine running, unforgivable on any MV, but sort of ok on this custom sh!t.
was really surprised by how fun it was and how solid and stiff the suspension was, i was really expecting a floaty soft ride but i cant be more wrong. It actually corners great (if not really slow) for a naked bike.
people, especially fat old guys gogged at every rest stop and was shocked to see me ride a living room art piece on the road, but i get a feeling i will soon devour naked bikes with this thing.
it is really quite nice, i dont think i can go back to mass produced stuff now.
im sure i'll get it together with my CC to do a photoshoot to make my MV peeps happy
some specs :
"Weighing in at a reasonably slim 460lbs (207kg), the Fighter Combat boasts 160hp and a meaty 135ft-lb of torque - both at the rear wheel not the crank.
These figures are achieved through a thunderous 120ci (1966cc) radial twin engine. With each piston displacing around 1000cc, you're looking at two of the largest cylinder bores in production motorcycle-dom."
