Motorcyclist Caught Doing 193MPH (311km/h) on NY Highway… in the Rain!
Fast is a huge understatement in the case of 28 year-old Anthony Anderson of Poughkeepsie who was clocked by a State police trooper in upstate New York doing 193mph (311km/h) on his Suzuki motorcycle - in the rain!
The trooper told reporters that he spotted Anderson at around 8pm Wednesday while traveling in the southbound lanes of Interstate 87 and was able to inform nearby patrol officers who stopped him in the town of Rosendale.
Wondering what his excuse was for going almost as fast as an airplane getting ready for take off?
According to KY3 News, Anderson told police troopers that he was in a hurry because he was heading to the hospital to visit a…patient.
Evidently, the officers were in no mood for games and issued Anderson with 14 tickets, including, of course, one for speeding.
