This whole season was an absolute disaster. Hopefully the GP12 will address all the front end woes that plagued Rossi and Hayden this previous season.
The whole season wasa disaster in terms of on track results.
If you look at it in terms of development it isn't.
The minds and talent behind the MotoGP have won more championships then anyone else in the paddock today. They will solve the problems and Rossi will win again, on a Ducati.
The Panigale that Bayliss was flying fast in testing with uses the same "frameless" design that the MotoGP bike uses. The difference is in the amount and type of feedback required to turn competetive laps on a MotoGP bike as oppsed to a WSBK bike.
Most the poeple concerned with the Ducati Corse have said that the problem with the GP11 wasn't the basic design, but the feedback it provided Rossi and Hayden and to some extent Stoner with in regards to the front end. The feedback is there, but it's not what riders are used to feeling with a conventional chassis, hence the swithc first to the hybrid chassis and now apparently to the aluminum beam frame.
2012 promises to be an extremely interesting season.

A 160 for vintage events.
I'm looking at a 1200 s Touring multistrada and an 848 evo for trackdays in 2012.

Not sure if I'm going to sell her or keep her. We'll see.
B you ride Duc's man? verrry cool!
I drive German, ride Italian and sled American. Monster and an Agusta F4 with the winter rig being a Polaris. With the Wisconsin weather at 37 degrees and no snow I can't play with any of them. Depressing. Although the Audi has seen some SERIOUS speeds and corners in the last two weeks. Have not put the snows on yet, but the E is ready.Originally Posted by STOPPIE

WHERE ARE THE PICTURES MAN?? SERIOUSLY!!
You knew that. In storage with the Monster. I'll make sure to visit her before LA and get some pics for ya. I almost traded her on the new Brutalle last summer. Perfect winter photo from 2009. My garage, the euro delivery Pcar plates, the GT3, my Duc and sigh... the snowblower.Originally Posted by STOPPIE
