I have hit 5 deer, and been hit by 1 deer in the last 10 years. WV has the highest rate of deer vs vehicle in the country.

Fortunately for me, my F150 had the first 5 encounters (hit 2 at once), last time a buck ran into the side of my 911 while the top was down. Scared the crap out of me.

Can not imagine what it would be like to be on a bike. People who are against hunting deer have no clue what is going on in rural areas.

Wow man, I hope your recovery is going well.
I once broke 2 ribs and they never really recovered, I hope yours do.

Ohio should be on the list as well. Why not 1) extra long deer hunting season and 2) I want restaurants serving the tastey critters!!
