Ducati tips

So it would appear the fine ladies of TS need tips and pointers to ride a red Duc ...

First things first. Engine. Warm it up. Get it nice and toasty. Blue tint on the exhaust adds 12hp.

Step 2. Tires. Warm them up properly.

Step 3. Throttle.

That's how you disregard the heat, lack of comfort ... or forgetting to take any other pictures all day.

Was rock steady at 264, could've kept on going but traffic up ahead.

Have yet to reach 299, seem to always run out of room at 280-ish.

I managed to reach 308 at the end of Phillip Island straight with a tail wind. Then filled my leathers as I tipped into that awesome right hander.

I got pulled over on the 40 doing 140 while eating a&w only because I have out of province plates. The officer then started talking to me in French. I told him to speak english or go away. He called for backup. A hour later I was on my way and I still haven't payed the ticket.

Don't forget to invest in the Corse engine management software. It's essential to tuning and getting the most out of the bike given all of the EPA restrictions...
