Such a shame.

If Spies hadn't jumped ship so early to MotoGP they could have taken home another title or two.

Big error on their part.

THEN, it'll be a HUGE error on their part.

Race/Win on Sunday sell on Monday best advertising you can have, its important for them to have a presence in WSBK and MOTO GP

I disagree. That used to be the case but not really anymore. I've been riding for years and you'd be hard pressed to find riders who are really knowledgeable about WSBK or MotoGP...

It certainly had no real bearing on my decision and I follow WSBK...maybe not obsessively but I do follow it. It's more of a 'Its sorta neat they win so many championships'. Part of the mystery I suppose.

They don't need it to sell bikes. But they need to ensure the client experience is a great one, including plenty of R&D for their bikes.

That really is too bad. Watching the AMA Superbike race at Laguna Seca there was only one R1 on the grid other than the factory supported bikes of Hayes and Clark. I guess motorcycle racing is not what it used to be.

I am and I ride. I watch every race every season, car racing is boring when you like bike racing.

next time you go riding in a group, ask around. you'll be shocked. Lots of riders dont follow it.
