Diavel at home!...more pics (heavy)

Well I got the bike home on a trailer and it immediately started raining and hail! So all I've been able to do is turn the thing on... blissful sound... the stock exhaust is loud enough!

Anyhow I'm glad to have it home after drawing lots of attention at a grub stop... one fellow started giving me a lecture on how much faster the Triumph was blah blah... my response was that even if this bike only went at 20mph I'd be happy just pinning it to my garage wall and gawp at it whilst sipping my fav tipple! He was not amused. Generally though folks have been just full of admiration for the bike. Anyway here's more piccies.

More pics here... https://teamspeed.com/forums/motorcy...pic-heavy.html

WOW!
The carbon really stands out in your pics, unlike I've any of the Diavel porn shots I've looked at.

The other thing that I notice is that the machine doesn't look as fat as I've seen it appear to be in a lot of other shots.

Simply stunning.

How long ago did you order it? OR did you get dibs on the first dealer shipment?

I'm a fan of this. Ducati's venture into more street friendly machines has been pretty successful. Not unlike Ferrari, there are definitely some unique design characteristics, but that is what sets Italians apart. I like this one like I do the Hyper. I do agree with a post in your previous thread, you NEED Termi's. Not only will the carbon work perfectly on that bike, they are the perfect Duc mate.

The bike really is chunky but I being 5ft 8in and slim build could easily flat foot with a comfortable bent knee. The seating position is superb!

I ordered my bike 2 weeks ago with an option to chose from the first batch the dealer got. They only got the one unit delivered out of their initial order, I turned up when the bike had just arrived yesterday, and I took my option and switched to Black carbon when I saw how nice the black looks! The dealers own demo has yet to arrive! Hopefully tomorrow or day after.

Pandora's in Chattanooga have been ace! I've known them from their inception andI could not praise them highly enough. They move mountains for their customers!
