Farewell 46

i feel like Yamaha is taking one of the biggest gambles in sports by mistaking injured for past his prime. Lorenzo's fast and a deserving champion but hes still unproven when it comes to performing under pressure. I think the other aliens made unforced errors so its hard for me to say Lorenzo's performance led to their mistakes. Next year(starting tomorrow) will tell us a lot...

Does anyone remember when he joined Team Yamaha; and told them it would probably take two years for him to win? Only to win his FIRST season with Yamaha....
Everyone thought the Yam bikes were never properly sorted, Haga had a very hard time on the bike.
Only for Rossi to tame the beast.
Talent just pours out of this guy....

Absolutely a HUGE mistake on Yamaha's part for letting him go. It would have been a happier ending if JLo got the boot and Vale stayed on to mentor Spies.

^^^That is a Far better scenario. Lorenzo just proved in 2010 that he can win when EVERYTHING goes his way(Rossi missing 4 races then returning with 2 injuries, ducati not figuring out Stoners issue was positioning due to his wrist injury, and the RC212 spitting Pedrosa off). He spent maybe half the season racing the aliens, I hope they're all 100% and that Spies joins the fight in 2011. I'm also going on record in predicting that Simoncelli will be a darkhorse in 2011.

Lorenzo did a wonderful job aided by Rossi's hiatus however it was a great season all in all. The best is yet to come 2011 will be an awesome season and there will be some real action. Pedrosa is also a force to be reckoned with!

Wouldn't exactly make that statement. Stoner is a contender as well as Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Hayden, Spies. Next year will be a killer season and there will be
lots of battles
