Some seriously great road racing pictures.
I think the photographer captured the feel of the sport perfectly.
His name is Stuart Burns and here's his site:

All of these are from the 2010 season. Top stuff.
(Steve Plater in case you're not keeping up with your road racing legends)

It's hard to explain Al...it's really just the culture over there. They love the sport just like Americans love football. I hate to say it (as it sounds condescending) but once you see it, every other sport really seems like a chess match. To each their own though
Take a closer look at the side fairing. Cool eh?

Hi folks, i'm the guy that took the photos above, SAB has intrigued me into having a look at the forum.
Anyone interested in these photos should also check out these links to videos i've discovered over the years on youtube, they really do take your breath way when you see these guys doing their stuff on narrow country roads, every one of them a hero!
YouTube - Isle Of Man TT 2009 From Gorse Lea
YouTube - Tandragee 100 2008 - Martin Finnegan, sadly missed
YouTube - North west 200 2008 superbikes station corner
YouTube - ARMOY ROAD RACES 2009
YouTube - ulster grand prix onboard with telemetry
Loads more out there, onboard ones are just as impressive like the last one I posted up there, the digital speeds are Miles Per Hour and the top speed noted there was 190mph, not bad for a small country road in Ireland
