Quote of the season thus far; "It was a great battle with Stoner, congratulations to him. If it happened the other way around he would surely have cried like he did after Laguna Seca [in 2008], but this is racing. I'm happy because he was smiling at the end." - VR46

I don't care who, but theres no way i'd be battling someone with a broken leg and 6 weeks off of a bike. Stoner needs to up the pace, he had it in quali then lost it sunday. No excuses for someone as good as him with a top factory bike. He admitted after Qatar that the bike had the pace to win but he changed his rhythm, crashed and the bikes been the issue(excuse) for him ever since.
Bike has had issues all year if you are old enough to recall when King Kenny was on top and a few young guys came along by the names of Rainey and Scwantz came along it got fun!

Rossi is 32 he has been doing this a long time, you probably dont know too many bigger fans then me of VR then me however Jorge,Dani and Casey are young blood and they are on the move.

I know my history too budz. Stoner OBVIOUSLY had the advantage when he won because Ducati was working on 800cc motors before everyone else, and Jorge is definitely quick but hes winning on a machine developed by the same person he can't beat for the championship and Dani...

VR and possibly Capirossi to me are the only riders whos names can be put in the same sentence with the superstars from the 80's & 90's. They're cut from a different cloth.

Bike of HRC and Yamaha have been tuned with VR's input, next year the Duc will reign, regardless of what you say Stoner is riding a very difficult Bike near the edge all the time.

Casey was riding on the edge while pulling out a lead in Qatar, then crashed because he backed off. I'm not saying the bike is perfect but i think he put some of those problems in his head. Ducati can adjust all they want on that front end but if its still in the riders head that its not working, its all for nothing. Do you think those "wings" really added downforce to the front end or did they just give Casey the confidence to ride at a pace worthy of pole if it wasn't for edwards getting in the way.
