I presume Hayden is getting the axe, I wonder where he'll go next?

if Yamaha keeps Lorenzo then it's most likely going to happen because Honda destroyed their relationship with him. It's really on yamaha right now.

Real deal. If you've been following the silly season rumors you'll remember Rossi mentioned last year around this time that Yamaha would have to choose between him and Lorenzo. He loathes him as a teammate.

I think it's a cool way to retire. If he can win on the Duc, then he'll have proved his greatness on the 3 manufacturers that matter in GP.

And finishes his career on a Italian bike, the crowds would go crazy! I think this bike will fit rossi great, he finally gets a bike with power to match his skills

Yeah, its frustrating to compete with someone on a bike you developed. And Lorenzo's 'Rossiesque' celebrations gotta annoy him a bit

Is there any truth to the deal Ducati worked out with Ferrari that would allow Rossi to test with them as much as possible?

I'm 50/50 on him, the talents there but like you said the authenticity of his personality is questionable. Plus I didn't like the way he bumped Rossi in turn one at the start of the Donington race last season.

If the rumors are true, that's great news!
