Holy crap! 9.57 @ 156.1 mph?
According to Sport Rider, that's what it took for the BMW S 1000 RR to cover the quarter. Even though this is only a fraction of the bike's many talents - that's pretty darn impressive. I want one. But do I wait for the first re-design in probably...2012?

very unlike BMW bikes ... still don't think this is the market for BMW and that it will last ...

^^^ Hmm...we'll see, but I'm hearing it's an incredible piece of machinery for the money.

Anyone have a quarter mile time for a Ducati Desmosedici RR?

That's awesome. I do think this will be a strong market for BMW, but we'll see.
