Not my bike. I wish though. I am going to buy a Ninja 250R in a couple weeks and ride it for about 2-3 months then it is time for the Streetfighter S. I will probably make it almost identical to that bike.

That will be quite a jump! Granted I started straight up on a ZX6R and am probably still around today (bike isn't) for the most part due to lack of low end torque and crazy high gearing. The Streetfighter is quite the opposite...but boy would I love to have one

You shouldn't do that this quickly, iit's definitly not a beginner's bike! IMO it would be better to keep the 25OR for a year to practice your skill then look at sport roadsters loke, hornet or a triumph street triple...

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
Now that I have given it some thought, I am very tempted to say f*^k the R1, and get a 999S or 1098S. The black and red is making me crazy!!

I don't want all of that stuff anyway. I don't track my bikes. I just run them up and down I-5/405 and through the various canyons around where I live (Ortega, Palomar, etc.).

All the more reason to have all of that gear.
