I'm also going to repeat what the others have said, all three of those bikes are a bad idea for a first bike. Pretty much 1000cc anything is too much for the vast majority of first time street riders, let alone a an 1100cc twin. While the monster may not be blindingly fast, it does have quite a bit of torque at low rpm which makes throttle control that much more important. I suggest you start with something with less torque.

I won't repeat what others have said.

If you continually dump a dirt bike because you can't control the throttle you shouldn't be looking at street bikes at all buy a car

+1 ... that tells me death grip on the handlebars. When you should be holding it with your legs, better control of body positioning and incommensurately more accurate control on what your hands are doing.

I can't even begin to imagine the disaster of death grip on a streetbike, even if just a 400cc. Let alone a torquey 1100cc twin.

I think I am just going to pick up a Ninja 250R and ride it for a few months and then move on to a bigger bike.

There ya go. Even (honestly) a Monster 600 Duc is a VERY easy bike to learn on and it won't hurt you $$ wise or send you on your a$$.

Dated a gril for a bit who had a Ninja 250 -bike was/is WAY underpowered. She then got a Monster 750. Even that bike wasn't scary...

But she did bin it. Low sided it while not leaning far enough into a corner. She sat up and the bike went bye bye....haha...

Can't really go wrong with a Ninja 250, but I also think a used Monster 620, 695, 696, would also be fine, and would probably allow you to keep it a little longer. You have already set yourself up to get bored of the 250, and you will probably find the first excuse to get rid of it, probably prematurely. If you at least get something you like, but is still manageable, you can probably keep it a bit longer and work on your riding skill instead of letting your ego tell you that you are ready for a bigger bike.

Oh, and one more thing, this is very important.

Take the MSF course.
