Bikes shouldn't be allowed on the road anyway.

there's a video in the guy's library that looks just to be what you described tumble down a hill and all. Thankfully, the rider was able to walk away this time.

I won't post the video out of respect for you, but it opened my eye's as to just how easily something can go horribly wrong.

Dana- my brothers good buddy bought a CBR600 F4i (this is going back to around 2001) and both of them were taking thier 1st ride of the season. My brother, having grown up on dirt bikes, was much more knowlegable rerarding riding early in the season in NH- with all the salt and dirt still on the sides of the roads from the winter...

All it took was a gust of wind and his buddy got over into the salty/dirt part of the road and bike went out from underneath him. Bike went over guardrail, he slid down the rail and launched about 70ft away.

Broken leg, fractured pelvis, broken arm= he was a mess. The only parts of him NOT hurt?

His head and face due to wearing a helmet and his hands, due to wearing bike gloves.

I slid through an intersection doing about 40MPH; got up, ran over to the bike, brushed the bike off and off I went.

I was wearing fully armoured Joe Rocket leather jacket, gloves, boots and armour pants. (and of coures brain bucket).

Crashing sucks; but CRASH you will.

really???? the cop is a dick, he saw him crash and he put on his lights and sped up, he was close enough(not to mention it would have been safer) to get out of his car and walk to the bike/rider!- cops like that piss me off!

I like to give hell to pigs as much as the other guy, but the biker is one hell of a noob.
If you can't stay focused and in control during "oh crap" moments, you just suck. Had it been a truck coming the other way it wouldn't have been pretty.
At least he wasn't going fast...
