i noticed they washed the bike using a water hose. Is that ok? Id wash mine like that too if it is..

You ever ride in the rain? It won't hurt the bike.

I think it was because they wanted to make sure to get anything that had been collecting on the bikes sitting in the crate. For normal washing, a spray can of honda brite is magic and there is no chance of getting water on parts that rust, like headers.
