Wear your helmet ALL THE *UCKING TIME!

Riders out there, wear your goddam helmet. 100% of the time. Always.

A friend my age killed himself yesterday while loading up his bike in the trailer. No details ... but he wasn't wearing his helmet.

It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't leave behind a great girl and an 8mo old baby ...

Lost another buddy in exact same circumstances couple years back "just loading the bike up".

RIP, and for God's sake keep your *ucking helmet on ALL THE TIME!!! Don't leave behind loved ones for no good reason.

Have a nice effin' day.

As far as I know he wasn't hit or anything. Just a mishap while loading the ATV in a trailer.

I'd call it a freak accident but a riding buddy died a couple years back in similar circumstances, turning the bike around to get back into the trailer, hit a sidewalk at 10mph tops. Again, no helmet as he was just loading it up.

We'd be laughing about those stupid mishaps around a BBQ if they'd just worn their stupid helmet.

I always thought riding bikes/ATVs up steep narrow ramps into a tight tall metal lined box after a long day of riding was far more dangerous than jumping 80ft triples and always wore boots/chest protector/helmet when loading the bike up.

Today, I wish I'd have been wrong all those years.

Just wear a helmet, it takes no time or effort to put it on and it will save your life sooner or later.

Thanks for the kind words guys, it's a mix of sad and upset feelings ... sad for his family, upset because it was so unnecessary and avoidable.
