That's true!
I've tried to go and see one, but there isn't one in Atlanta that I know of. Have you seen one in person?

Were they not supposed to be in shops at this point?

I've been trying to figure out what comes after the 999. Having a four year old has mellowed me... This should be a nice step back...

sounds like my old VFR. Haven't had a bike in almost 2 years.....may get one of these .....can't resist much longer.

I'm right there with ya man.
Sold my 999 because I have a four year old, and didn't want to risk doing something stupid on the track. Telling myself I'm moving away from crotch rockets... I call this bike a fine compromise.

Or at least that is how it is being rationalized.

it doesn't work

My Z1000 is somewhat similar in definition and it makes a hooligan out of me, probably more than a crotch rocket would.
Great engine, lively chassis and great ergos means you'll be wanting to play with the damn thing all the time.

I have not seen one in person yet. They were scheduled to arrive in the US mid-May.

I think it would be a natural progression for you coming off the 999.
