Some 16 year old cut me off by coming into my lane, not seeing me and then slammed on her brakes to make sure to stop while the light was yellow and before it turned red

I slammed on my brakes, rear locked up, let go, hit the front harder, front locked up sending me and the bike end over end smack on my head and shoulder (flew about 10 ft). luckily I didn't hit anyone, but there was a good pileup behind me.

thank god for gear, otherwise I would have been really ****ed up

 

I broke mine before, it is not a very pleasant 8 weeks.....although, I was a freshman in HS and did almost no work. I had girls taking notes for me which I never wound up reading anyway.....

 

Damn. I just bought my first bike (Ducati Monster 696) in December. Guess I am still due . . .

update, no surgery yet, going to let the bone heal for 6 weeks before considering going in and getting the ac seperation fixed.

 

Dr. Kramer knows best. He is the best in the area at shoulders.
