First of all, no, the Ford GT does not actually weigh 2890 lbs like Forza says. It weighs 3580 lbs. If anything, the new GT is heavier than the previous Ford GT!! The Ford GT is NOT designed to be faster than the Lamborghini Huracán or the Lamborghini Aventador in a straight line. It turned out to finish a 1/4-mile sprint in 11.0sec @ 125.1mph. Typical Hellcat-on-street-radial numbers, despite the OVERHYPING 1.23G SKIDPAD NUMBER. Ford claims a 230mph top speed for the GT.

Road & Track reports a 0-60mph time of 2.9sec and a 0-100mph time of 6.7sec. Supercars like the Ferrari 488 GTB and the McLaren 650S post much faster straight line numbers, but this GT is a track beast!

There is also a non-free Arabic car magazine website which reported this exact same test, only with metric numbers. It's literally called "Islam Super Autos Magazine" in the English language. Their 400m time speaks out as 10.99sec, and the 0-100km/h time as 3.27sec. In Islamic countries, supercars are much more common to see than in America!
