One amateur race proves nothing. That said, not alot of Lambo customers cross shopping for a Corvette. The Z06 is fast but its typical Chevy rattles, poor paint and build quality kills it. If GM can raise the manufacturing and quality of materials, then you have a world class contender.

Rob99 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
The Z06 is probably the best bang for your buck even in today's sports car market.
