I came across car below the other day. Could someone please tell me exactly what car this is?

Just taking a wild guess but I'd say it's a C5 Corvette convertible with 1953 Corvette sheetmetal thrown over the top of it.

Edit: found this, 1953 Commemorative Edition

Saw one of those a few months back here in Tampa. I could tell it was some sort of mutated C5 Corvette, but wasn't impressed.
