So, I suppose we should say that about every car that's been crashed, right? I mean, it's only fair, since it's so very obvious that the reason for the crash was the 'Vette's poor driveability. Couldn't have been the driver doing something stupid and paying for it, oh no.
And sarcasm, off.
The "official" story is that the driver took a turn too tight and the inside wheel caught the edge of the pavement. Personally, I think it's BS, as it doesn't explain how the left side of the car got scratched up(likely by a guard rail on the other side of the road). I think the driver was hooning around on a canyon road and got a bit too overzealous. GM just doesn't want to admit that one of their people was driving dangerously on a public road.

Could have been the driver that just missed the curb. I'm not a vette fan at all, personally American car designs have no imagination and just do not know how to build a good all around car. If that makes me an assh^%le then so be it, but Vettes have never been know to have good drive ability.

What, exactly, do you mean in regards to driveability? Yes, they're known to be a handful at the limit, but under normal driving conditions they've got very good road manners. I can personally attest to that, and virtually every review of every modern Corvette has said the same. Even the ZR1 and Z06 regularly got props for being so docile on the road, considering what they were capable of(though the Z06's stiffer suspension lost it some points in that area).
I'm sorry, but when I see posts like yours, I just see someone who doesn't really know what they're talking about. Like when you said a the Audi R8 and Porsche 911 GT3 were faster than a ZR1.

I'm a fan of all cars, not a huge vette fan, but what do you refer to when you say good "drive ability"
