how does it compare to its German precedessors?
Do you miss anything?
I haven't had a chance to track the BOSS yet but took it on some spirited drives

Its lighter and Handles better than the C63 p31, isn't as fast in a straight line. Has less understeer

It's handling is similar to the M3. I think the boss actually has better steering. It's very good, I was blown away. Pretty well balanced with mild understeer

The solid rear axle does get upset here and there on the boss but hadn't had any major problems with it.

I really like the clutch and gearbox. Precise, gears are very close together , heel toeing is a breeze in it.

Now u cant compare the interior, audio, build quality to any of Z Germans but they are doing better than before. The car feels pretty solid.

Well IMO not really. I thought my c63 had better steering even though the car didn't handle as well. I feel the front wheels more and it felt more communicative. The m3 felt more electronic to me.

I'd agree with all of this. I've had the privilege of some access to some pretty impressive cars and this Boss really does blow me away. I'd take it over the M3 any day of the week (love the M3 too, this is just my opinion). Steering is sharper, tranny feels much more 'connected' and smooth, handles very well for a 3500 lb car with minimal and great response. The only thing I could see myself ever stepping up to from this and being satisfied with the move is a GT3.

It's a badass car...congrats again bud!

how can that be...?

they must have hired some German engineers in a Werner von Braun kind of fashion

no,honestly...that`s great to hear and definitely makes it much more desireable imo!

Congrats! Love the car. If I didn't need AWD, this would be the first car I'd look into. Have fun with it!

Very cool and thanks for posting. So would it be beneficial to just remove the rear setup all together and just run out the sides? Or is it nice to have it silent when your just cruising?
