Here are some much better examples of what I'm talking about:

Damn..I really love my PJ mustang. No love for it here I see.

Like I said, their technical prowess is impressive. It's their looks I'm not so keen on

I guess maybe you're missing the point of my cars existence. It was built
in a limited production run to honor Parnelli Jones. The car is a replica of
the 70 Trans-Am championship car he drove. It's as close as you can make a
new gen look to a 1970. And it's performance is amazing for what it is. But if it's not for you and you don't get it, nothing I say will change that.
Anyway, I'm glad to see Saleen back in the game. My car has a daddy again! Lol.

That I can appreciate. I didn't know that. However, my comment was more about the "common" Saleen Mustangs, not a special edition like yours.

First, most Saleen's do not have stripes and/or numbers. Only ones like the Parnelli Jones Mustang. What is wrong with the looks of the Saleen and SMS Mustangs below? I personally love them. If you have a different opinion, that is fine, I'd just like to know why.

Second, the problem with doing just performance upgrades is, you are no different than any other tuner out there. The idea with this is, you are buying a more complete build. Not just some performance cams any other tuner (Hennessey, Lingenfelter, etc.) can do, or even a home mechanic, they are selling a car that is different. It adds styling and interior upgrades that set it apart. They are serialized cars.

If all you care about is the performance, then that is fine, but go somewhere else. Saleen (and Roush) offers complete packages, there are many performance only shops. This complete package is why Saleen is known.

Damn! I do like that silver SMS edition. Glass roof option and all. Also, The last
Saleen extreme models (2007-09) with 620HP.and the 6-spd. Tremec TR-6060 and Watts link rear susp., 3,450.00 lbs. are amazing performers, and sexy as hell!
